LEGAL
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Doku collects during website, web-app and mobile-app testing and how players can control their information.
Last updated: 2 August 2026
Who operates Doku
Doku is a UK-based family games service. Privacy questions can be sent to support@dokufamily.app.
Information we process
- Account information: email address, authentication provider, display name and account identifier.
- Social information: friend requests, accepted friends, Friend Circles, invitations and blocked connections where available. Facebook sign-in does not automatically import a player’s full Facebook friends list.
- Game information: matches, moves, answers, results, scores, streaks, progression, achievements and challenge history.
- Device and notification information: push-notification token, notification preferences, app version, platform and basic technical diagnostics.
- Support information: messages and details voluntarily supplied when requesting help, reporting a problem or asking for deletion.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide accounts, synchronise progress, run private multiplayer games, connect invited friends, prevent abuse, deliver requested notifications, improve reliability and respond to support requests.
Service providers
Doku uses service providers including Supabase for authentication and cloud data, hosting providers for the website and app, and Facebook, Google or Apple when a player chooses their sign-in service. These providers process information under their own security and privacy terms.
Sharing and advertising
Doku does not sell personal information. The current testing release does not use personalised advertising. Other players see only information needed for play, such as display name, game status, score and safe social interactions.
Children and family play
Doku is being tested as a family games service. The initial Google Play test is intended for invited testers aged 13 or over. Child-directed release settings, parental controls and any required age treatment will be completed before Doku is marketed directly to younger children.
Retention and deletion
Account and game information is kept while the account is active or while reasonably required to provide the service, resolve security problems and meet legal obligations. Players can delete their account inside Doku or request deletion through the account-deletion page.
Security
Doku uses authenticated access, database permissions and encrypted network connections. No online service can promise absolute security, so testing accounts should not use a password reused for important services.
Your choices
Players can change notification preferences, sign out, link supported providers, request access or correction, and delete their account. Contact support@dokufamily.app for a privacy request.
Changes
This policy may change as testing expands. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page.
